There are pros and cons to calling employers to know if they are hiring or not. If you decide to call, do so, but it would be best to refrain from giving your name. Many employers see this lack of motivation as being lazy and thatÂ’s the last thing you want to be associated with.
Employers will advertise that they are hiring, either by placing an advertisement in newspapers, using a career hunting website, or placing a now hiring sign in front of their building. These signs are the best way to go finding a job, without risking making a bad impression.
