Police Officer – job description no comments
Police officers reduce crime and fear of crime by working in partnership with the local government, organizations and communities. They mainly focus on reducing theft and burglary, robbery and other street crimes, fight organized crime, arrest offenders and bring them to trial, and counter terrorism. Police work does not only include man hunts and arrests, but also investigative work and gathering evidences, searching individuals, premises and properties, responding to emergencies, keeping the peace during public rallies, events, meetings and parades, and developing community relations to promote peace and safety. Police officers also do the difficult job of delivering death and hospital messages to families.
