There are several myths and misconceptions about the nonprofit sector. We may think that there are no potential career growth in a non profit work, where in fact, a lot of newbies use them as major stepping stones for major career goals in the near future. The myths have ultimately discouraged the majority of the workers to explore their opportunities and possibilities when they work for a non profit company. In fact, non profit organizations employ more than 10 million people or eight percent of the American working majority. They employ more than 100 individuals. The problem is that the workers are unaware and know little about the said organizations. The nonprofit sector can be a private or a public organization. And sometimes they can be both. That simply means it is more flexible than regular companies.
